Querido cuerpo,
¡Gracias!
Gracias querido cuerpo, gracias.

hi ive read so much infor on here all fantastic, but I suffer with hypothyroid,my condition is called shimts if ive spelt it wronge im sorry but could do with knowing alittle more if anyone can help . I have vit b12 and thyroid meds but feel shatterd all the time x
I was diagnosed as a sufferer of coeliac disease at the age of three and went on to follow a gluten free diet until the age of 40. I was then told I was not coeliac. However soon after this new diagnosis I started having problems with my thyroid & have had problems ever since. I have been on Levothyroxetine now for approximately eight years & am still struggling with many overwhelming symptoms of having hypothyroidism. My doc did a thyroid antibbdy test & said I was not coeliac a couple of months ago. I have taken matters into my own hands & am going gluten free. Already I feel my symptoms are slightly less exaggerated so I shall eliminate gluten completely & hopefully this will help because I am so tired of being so poorly.
I was feeling the same way. It took me a couple of yrs to completely get off gluten. its been 4 months with no wheat period. It takes about 4-6 months for it to get out of your system. Know I’m taking Aloe from the plant. a half inch and I fillet it. put it in orange juice, piece of pineapple, banana and frozen raspberries. Its yummy and you can’t taste the aloe. I had a test done and it came out negative. Im treating myself that I’m gluten intolerant. Im feeling better and Im not getting pain attacks in the nerves and bones.. To replace the flour I use organic almonds and organic oatmeal and oatmeal is gluten free that means its not cross
cotaminated.Put it in the food processor until its blended.
Levothyroxine doesn’t really work, see if you can find a natural or functional doctor and get on natural desicated thyroid. They can’t really tell if you have celiacs that easily for sure and if it’s a serious intolerance it could become less severe, either way that sounds like a bad doctor. There are gluten free oats like Bob’s Red Mill but organic does not mean gluten free Cecie. They are usually still processed with organic wheat products.
thank you…i dont have healthcare..but i went anyway ..labs come back next week.i muat say tho careful on advisi g not take thyroid med..my husband had a throid storm he almostt saw Heaven
The oatmeal meal that I buy is not cross – contaminated with wheat and its organic. This oatmeal does not bother me. GF Harvest Organic OldFashioned Rolled Oats. I order the oatmeal through Amazon. Jilli maybe your right. Maybe you can look into this oatmeal and let me know what you think. Thanks
I get sick with gluten plus gluten free I stopped eating this total garbage plus any of these types of foods are loaded with ‘histamines’ fresh natural foods best plus some products carry dairy one does not have to be lactose imtolerance I do not touch diary either no sugar as well not even cane sugar or fraudulent honey…I won’t even eat 100% honey either plus peanut butter only 100% organic other types make me worse plus Peanuts by themselves I eat tons of cashews…I avoid tuna can spinach cabbage onions tomatos tomato sauce all high histamine type foods rule of thum’ elimination plus if food makes you worse don’t eat it at all…I do not eat any cereals one I can tolerate is gluten free oatmeal but off now…
I dntvreally know much about thyroid but I’ve had it I guess 15 years idkno. Yeah that’s my most problem.isn’t kno !!.As the years are passing me by the more I’m forgetting.Sons are constantly saying I need help I need checked what’s wrong with u.? Can u help. Ty
Hi. This is great, I’m anxious to try these recipes. My husband had celiac and I have hashimotos, newly diagnosed. My question is what are staples that I should always have on hand to eat this way so that I’m not always running to the store to cook a decent gf meal for my family? I have 2 kids under 2 and simplicity is key.
My husband has, not had..
Is it possible to get a list of good foods to keep on hand, and some breakfast lunch and dinner recipes that will be easy to make for those of us who are just starting to learn how to go gluten free?
I have hashimotos..crave sugar..so fatigued..now blood in urine but no infection in it..and diabetes.cortisol.large gut and noone cares.also on estrogen cuz nenapause..at age 49 . hysterectomy..too.take synthroid..have had strept…bronchitis..and cough the cough for six monthes
Go to the doctor now. Blood in your urine, and a history of diabetes and a strep infection, you need your kidneys checked now. Good luck
thank you…i dont have healthcare..but i went anyway ..labs come back next week
You need a new doctor if you are on synthroid with those issues. Also should be completely gluten and sugar free. That will help cravings go away and diabetes. I’ve found only natural doctors to be helpful.
i guess gluten free seems impossible..ive increased insulin and weaning sloky out sugar..any good diets out there?
Try Dr Bernstein’s Diabetic Solutions, I am Type1 for 41 yrs also hypothyroid with no Dr that wants to help I need T3, Like cytomel as I pd for my own testing and from free t3 and freeT4 and other labs done, I need t3 meds.As far as controlling blood sugars, low carb is the only way to fly. Gluten free also, with both of these in check the rest of my body is fine, thyroid will be dealt with this week! That is my problem but good luck getting an Endo or GP to believe you!
I have a question…. I am not 342 pounds… I lost 10 and gained back 12.. and it is due to my Hashimoto’s auto-immune thyroidism.. My question, that I can’t get a straight answer to is this…. I am thinking about having that bariatric sleeve process.. and I want to know.. if, I have this done, and I will lost tonnage, will my hashimoto’s counter act the sleeve??? I mean.. I was told.. if I took a buttered slice of bread any kind. and cut it in to quarters… I eat 1 quarter, I will be fulllll……. Have to heard from anyone that got the sleeve with hasimoto’s and continued to loss tonnage???
Thanks…
CC
I have been told it would not help and I know someone who had a gastric bypass not work because of hashimotos. What you eat is more important than quantity. Find a functional or natural doctor to get correct treatment and dietary advice.
what is natural dr…im in appalacha
OOOPS CLICKED SUMMIT BEFORE, I DID MY SPELL CHECK.. I MEAN….
I AM NOW, 342 ….
Ok I have tried to get onto your Summit 4 times. I have registered and never gotten a link to actually get into to watch anything. Every time I try to register again it just tells me I am already registered then nothing. Disappointing. Stopped referring anyone to this summit. Poor technical execution. Too bad
